SIP held a conference on Mar 19 in the aim of promoting the development of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) industry. A number of officials and the representatives from about 50 organizations engaged in related fields participated.

At the event, SIP Economic Development Committee released the SIP Action Plan for Development of ESG Industry and Several Measures of SIP for Better ESG Development.

SIP-based multi-business conglomerate Sungent Group signed agreements with several domestic and overseas organizations to launch cooperation in ESG study, industrial development and capital operation.

The Sino-Singaporean Sustainable Development Research Center, Suzhou ESG Research Center, SIP ESG Alliance and SIP ESG Industrial Innovation Center were inaugurated.

The event also included a discussion session and a roundtable where the participating experts shared their ideas on future development of the ESG industry in SIP.
