A host of compatriots from Hong Kong, who are member of Suzhou Hong Kong Compatriots Association, got together in the event themed “Home in Suzhou, Meet at Jinji Lake” held in SIP on Nov 22, enjoying a tour to friendship and partnership.

The participants first toured Jinji Lake in the cruise ship “New Era”. While sailing on the lake, they enjoyed pingtan (storytelling and ballad singing in Suzhou dialect) performances. After disembarking, they visited the Taohua Island, immersing in the amazing scenery featuring red maple and golden gingko leaves.

The event received high praise from the participants, who said it not only strengthened emotional ties but also set a bridge for future cooperation.
