The 2nd Ascendas iHub Suzhou Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held in Ascendas iHub Suzhou, a national-level incubator in SIP, on Nov 28.

The event was designed to offer an opportunity for innovation and entrepreneurship projects to seek support and also attract high-level talents and their projects to Suzhou.

At the beginning of the event, the representative from SIP Enterprise Development Service Center gave the participants a detailed account of SIP’s support policies for businesses in different development stages.

In the roadshow, eight projects including an AI-powered outdoor sports coaching robot, an AI-based textile quality inspection system and an intelligent lawn mower were showcased. The judges evaluated and scored the projects from the perspectives of technological innovation, market and industrial prospects, talent team, business model and implementation plan, ultimately selecting the winning teams.
