The 2025 SIP Work Conference of Chief Digital Officers took place on Feb 21, looking back on SIP’s achievements in driving digital transformation over last year and clarifying tasks for related work in this year.

Zou Xiaowei, member of the CPC SIP Working Committee and deputy director of SIP Administrative Committee, was present, and the CDOs from different departments and organizations, all the staff members at SIP Big Data Management Center and representatives from Sungent DigiTech participated.

At the event, SIP Party and Administration Office (Big Data Management Bureau) made a report on work related to integrated digital technology application and key points of data-related work in this year. The leaders of groups working on digital governance made work reports.

Sungent DigiTech, a digital tech arm of SIP-based multi-business conglomerate Sungent Group, made a report on the building and operation of digital governance systems for SIP, and gave an introduction to the systems serving legal persons and natural persons.

SIP adopted the CDO system in 2021 in a bid to boost digital economy and accelerate digital development. At the event, the future responsibilities of the CDOs in different departments and organizations, such as those for management of information technology projects, increase of application scenarios and cyber and data security, were specified.
